Laal Singh Chaddha

Aamir Khan revealed his mother’s ‘cute’ way of telling him when she doesn’t like one of his films and revealed her reaction to the upcoming Laal Singh Chaddha. ‘Her opinion is important to me,’ he stated.

In an interview, actor Aamir Khan revealed his mother’s reaction to an early cut of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir stated that the film is currently being tested for audiences to determine what should and should not be changed. But his mother was so pleased with the outcome that she urged him not to make a single change.

The actor was asked who in his family matters the most to him while promoting the first song from the film’s soundtrack, Kahani, on RedFM. He stated that his mother’s opinion comes first and that he consults his children only after consulting her. Ira, his daughter, had accompanied him to the interview.

Then he said, “Ammi bohot hi sulpha Hua response deti hai. If cheez unko pasand nahi aati hai, to kehti hai ‘Hatao, yeh kya banaya hai’ (My mother responds thoughtfully. When she dislikes something, she says, ‘Get it away from me, what have you made?’ “She says it in a very cute way.”

Aamir revealed that his mother was very happy with how Laal Singh Chaddha turned out and that there was no need to make any further changes to it. “Ammi ko film about the day. ‘Aamir, kisi baat mat suniye,’ she said. Aapki film ke liye sahi hai. Or yahi release kariye. ‘Kuch mat katiye,’ she says. So, Ammi, how come mere kaam ke baare mein woh boht zaruri hai? It’s my first reaction (my mother liked the film a lot). ‘Don’t listen to anyone else, you’ve made a very good film,’ she said. ‘Don’t cut anything; just release it as is.’ My mother’s assessment of my work is extremely important to me).”

The official Hindi remake of Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks is Laal Singh Chaddha. The film has been in the works for several years but has been significantly slowed by the pandemic. The film, directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, whose second son, Jehangir, was not even conceived when she began working on it and is now a year old. The film will be released on August 11th.
