According to Esha Gupta, star kids can flop, be nasty, and still have another film’

Esha Gupta

Esha Gupta discussed how difficult it is for ‘outsiders’ in Bollywood, and how she sometimes wishes she was a member of the industry.

Esha Gupta has been working in the entertainment industry for close to ten years at this point. After appearing in several films, the actor is now a regular on streaming services as well. In a recent interview, Esha, the proverbial outsider in Bollywood, admitted that she had to take the harder and longer route to get there. She also discussed some of the benefits enjoyed by actors who are members of the industry.

For several years, there has been a debate in Bollywood between outsiders and insiders. Esha mentioned it during a recent interaction, based on her own experiences in the film industry. Esha has appeared in films such as Humshakals, Raaz 3D, Rustom, and Baadshsho since her debut in Jannat 2 in 2012.

“As someone who isn’t from the industry, what I can speak for outsiders is that you don’t get a shoulder to cry on,” she told Times. And you don’t have anyone to show you the way. Because very few people I met were genuine and genuine. My current agent is a close friend of mine. But only because I have faith in them. There are very few people who want to see you succeed and guide you in the same way.”

Esha went on to say that she wished she had been born and raised in the industry because it would have made her journey easier. “At times, I wish I was from the industry; I know I wouldn’t have faced that,” she said. When you’re in the industry, you can be nasty, you can give a flop, and it won’t matter because you’ll have another film. I remember being terrified when my first film failed. I began berating myself for my decisions. I had the impression that it was the end of the road and that I would no longer be employed. I eventually got up. I was working, earning money, putting in a lot of effort, and then you realize, that’s life.”

The actor was most recently seen in a supporting role in the third season of MX Player’s popular web series Aashram, starring Bobby Deol. She is also said to be in Hera Pheri 3. The original Hera Pheri actors Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal will reprise their roles in the film, which will be directed by Priyadarshan.
