After Delhi, Alia Bhatt changes into casual attire and Ranbir Kapoor claims his back hurts

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have travelled extensively for the film Brahmastra’s promotion. After travelling to Ujjain, the two travelled to Delhi to promote the film. They were observed at the airport late Wednesday evening upon their return from the capital.

Alia, who had donned a white blouse, blue jeans, and a lavender jacket to the Delhi event, wore black tee pyjamas and slippers for her return journey home. Ranbir Kapoor was wearing the same brown turtleneck t-shirt and matching jeans that he wore to the occasion. The two were observed walking hand-in-hand to their automobile from the airport. In the paparazzi footage, Ranbir also stated that his back hurt following the flight.

Alia is expecting her first kid and has been touring the country alongside Ranbir and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji to promote the film. Earlier, the trio had travelled to the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, where Ranbir and Alia were reportedly prevented from entering the temple by Bajrang Dal activists in response to Ranbir’s alleged earlier comments regarding eating beef.

Ayan disputed the claim at the event in Delhi. Clarifying the Ujjain incident, he stated, “Honestly, till the very end they were enthusiastic, but when we got there and learned about this, I felt a little bit that I would be going alone. I had gone to seek blessings and energies for my film. The blessing applies to everyone. I did not wish to take Alia due to her current health. I honestly felt that they could have done their “darshans” when I visited. That is my responsibility.”

In Brahmastra: Part One: Shiva, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy also star. After numerous delays, it will finally be released in theatres on Friday. The film is the first installment of Ayan’s Astraverse trilogy and was produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures in collaboration.
