Aishwarya Rai is renowned for her predominantly all-black airport attire, as she frequently travels with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and holds her hand in public. On Friday, a solo Aishwarya Rai was spotted leaving the Mumbai airport. The actor wore a long white coat over black t-shirt and black tights as she exited the Arrivals gate on Friday night. She completed her ensemble with white footwear and a black purse.

Aishwarya left Mumbai on Friday morning and was seen at the airport wearing the same outfit. She greeted the paparazzi with a smile upon her arrival and posed for them before entering her car.

When a paparazzi account on Instagram posted a video of her leaving, fans noticed the wallpaper on her smartphone. It was a close-up photograph of her daughter Aaradhya.

Aishwarya is currently preparing for the release of Mani Ratnam’s highly anticipated film Ponniyin Selvan I, which stars her. The historical drama based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 Tamil novel will debut in theatres on September 30. It tells the story of Arulmozhivarman, a southern king who became Rajaraja Chola I. In addition to Vikram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Jayam Ravi, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, numerous other actors appear in the film. The Tamil film has also been translated into Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

In the film, Aishwarya portrays the Pazhuvoor queen Nandini. She has a dual role, the other being that of Nandini’s deaf and mute mother, Mandakini Devi.

Aishwarya attended the premiere of the film’s trailer and soundtrack in Chennai earlier this month. She attended the event alongside her co-stars and special guests Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.
