Akshay Kumar on his son Aarav’s disinterest in Bollywood and being questioned for appearing in four films per year

Akshay Kumar has no idea why his decision to appear in numerous films every year is met with criticism. The actor, who has acted in five films this year alone, believes he is unfairly targeted for this. This year, as a result of Akshay’s four straight disappointments — Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, and Ram Setu — there has been a greater amount of discussion about his several releases every year. Cuttputlli, his solo OTT release, likewise debuted to negative reviews.

When asked why he works so hard at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2022, Akshay pondered what was wrong with completing things on time. “Tell me, who here ask their children why they work so hard? People question ítni gambling kyun karta hai, itna peeta kyun hai (why do you gamble so much, why do you drink so much)’. Who, however, questions someone for working hard?”

Akshay stated that he will continue to do numerous films each year if given the opportunity, as he is not “stealing from anyone” by doing so. “I produce four films yearly. Yes, I do it. I do commercials, yes. I am employed, yet I do not steal from anyone. I don’t comprehend. Why do you wake up so early, the media asks me. However, dawn is for awakening, right? They question why I sleep so early. You stupid, most people sleep during the night. “Arre bewakoof,”

“I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. If given the opportunity, I will work; who wouldn’t? I’ll produce four flicks. I will provide 50 days if necessary and 90 days if necessary,” he continued.

The actor disclosed during the event that his son Aarav has no interest in viewing movies. Akshay stated that he wants to show Aarav films and have a conversation about them, but his son is uninterested.

“I was just reflecting on how beautiful my home is when it occurred to me. I want to show my kid films and tell him about them, but he does not like to view them. I’d like to involve him in all of that, but he’s only interested in working. He desires to study or practise fashion design. “There are two ways to accomplish this: you can either keep it a secret or give them so much that they don’t want to do it,” Akshay explained.
