Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu debuts on Prime Video on Dec. 23.

The movie Ram Setu, which stars Akshay Kumar, will start streaming on Prime Video on December 23, the service said on Wednesday. The action-adventure movie came out in theatres all over the country in October. It was directed by Abhishek Sharma, who also made Parmanu and Tere Bin Laden.

The movie also starred Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. It was made by Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, Lyca Productions, and Abundantia Entertainment, and it was shown on Prime Video.

Akshay Kumar said that the movie Ram Setu is based on Indian history, and he is happy that it will be seen by more people now that it is on Prime Video.

“The movie was successful when it was released in theatres, and we are thrilled to be able to present it to people in other countries across the world. The 55-year-old actor said in a statement, “It’s a well-researched film that not only tells a true story but also gives viewers an immersive experience with its state-of-the-art VFX technology, which makes the story even better.”

In Ram Setu, Kumar, a former atheist archaeologist who has become a believer, has to race against time to prove that the legendary Ram Setu really exists before evil forces destroy this important part of India’s history.
