Alia Bhatt reveals her baby bump in a photo with Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have begun promoting their upcoming film, Brahmastra. The couple made a long-awaited joint appearance when they joined Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji for the release of a song preview.

Alia Bhatt, who has been seen in loose outfits while promoting her new film Darlings, stepped out in a short brown dress, highlighting her baby bump for the first time. She is accessorized with two-tone heels. Ranbir Kapoor accompanied her in black slacks. After a long time, the two posed for some adorable couple photos as the paparazzi snapped them.

The first song from Brahmastra, Kesariya, is already available. Ayan released a teaser for the second song, Deva Deva, earlier this week. Ranbir’s Shiva begins the teaser by praying to God. He is also seen explaining the significance of light to his love, Isha (Alia). “It’s what protects us when we’re faced with any darkness,” Ranbir says in the video to Alia. The teaser’s highlight is Ranbir exploring his power of fire with Amitabh Bachchan. The song will be available on August 8th.

Ayan wrote on Instagram about the song, “DEVA DEVA Teaser (and the rest of it – out this coming Monday – Lord Shiva’s day) Deva Deva – was the first song composed for Brahmastra, capturing the Soul of Shiva’s Journey in the film right away! It has given me so much energy and joy during its time with us… And I’m excited to finally share the feeling of this Song with everyone – on August 8th.”

Brahmastra will be released theatrically in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on September 9. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni also appear in the film.
