During the lockdown, people engaged in various creative endeavors, and Anushka Ranjan used a paintbrush to express her artistic side. The actress began painting and has already created over 20 pieces of art. For someone who had never painted before, she’s pleased she did now that she has more time on her hands due to the epidemic and lockdown. We’ve heard that after the first few paintings, she didn’t look back and continued with her passion. She’ll also be auctioning her paintings for charity shortly, with the money going to a non-profit.

‘I’d paint every day if I could’

The actress Anushka Ranjan discusses how she came to be a painter and how she was surprised by her own abilities. “During the lockdown, I had a lot of time and wanted to do something creative, so I started painting,” she explains. I began painting every day, and the positive responses for them began to pour in. The paintings were quite popular. Personally, I was pleasantly pleased with how nicely the artwork turned out. Someone then recommended that I auction the paintings to raise money for charity, and I said to myself, “Why not?” It feels nice to be able to do something like this to help someone else.”
