Arjun Kapoor opens out about his struggles with weight.

Arjun Kapoor has always been open and honest about his personal and professional life. The actor has always told it like it is, and he has always been honest about his path to B-town and how hard he had to fight to lose weight and become an actor. Netizens, on the other hand, frequently use social media to make obscene remarks and body shame the actor for not fitting a specific body type. In an interview with SeetaGeeta today, Arjun Kapoor discusses his fight with weight concerns and how he deals with body-shaming on social media.

He starts the interview by stating that he wasn’t only a big kid, but that he also had a health problem. His underlying health issue has made it difficult for him to maintain consistent body weight. “It’s tough for me to get rapid results because of my situation. It takes me two months to achieve the transformation that other individuals can make in a month. I’ve been focusing only on myself for the past year in order to acquire my present body type, and I just want to grow fitter and better. This trip has taught me that there is no such thing as an impossibility. All I have to do now is keep going. Shaming has unfortunately become a part of our life, and all I can hope for is that we improve as a society.”

Arjun Kapoor discusses how the actor is scrutinized on social media and how netizens body-shame him in some needless remarks. “There’s a lot of pressure to be relevant in this profession, and the negativity can get to you. When my films didn’t do as well as I had hoped, I became increasingly frustrated. The triggers that had created my health problem in the first place reappeared, but I made every effort to stay going and make each day matter. When you are continually engrossed in work, you are unaware of the potential for a downward spiral. While putting up a brave façade, you might be collapsing on the inside. It happened to me and a number of other people.”

However, Arjun Kapoor recently shocked everyone with his performance in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and the film’s success meant a lot to him. Today, he has a better physique, and he attributes this to his mental condition. “I’m pleased that I’m a work in progress; I believe we all are,” he says. So, if folks have enjoyed the fact that I’ve dropped weight and look a lot better, I appreciate their support. We have to deal with both positivity and negativity as part of our profession. We simply have to accept it and move forward as actors.”

We admire the actor’s positive attitude.
