At national chains, “Ant Man 3” surpasses Kartik Aaryan’s “Shehzada” by 75%

India is a big market for Marvel movies, and “Ant-Man” is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Bookings made ahead of time at national chains show that Ant-Man is way ahead. The success of “Pathaan” and the buzz around “Ant-Man 3” will make it hard for “Shehzada” to get people to go see it.

After being the only movie in theaters for over 20 days, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” now has some competition. Today, the movies “Shehzada,” with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” with Paul Rudd, will open in India. Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, went on Twitter on Friday morning to give an update on how many tickets were sold in national chains by 11 p.m. on Thursday. “Ant-Man” has made more money than “Shehzada” by 75%.

In the third part of the superhero movie “Ant-Man,” the heroes will explore the Quantum Realm, meet strange new creatures, and go on an adventure that will push them beyond what they thought possible.
