Bheed blockbuster collection day one: John Wick Chapter 4 performs better than Anubhav Sinha film
Bheed, the increasing use of social drama from Anubhav Sinha, came out in theaters on Friday. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar play the main characters in this black-and-white movie. It tells the story of migrant workers who relocated from cities back to their homes during the initial coronavirus lockdown. The movie, on the other hand, isn’t doing very well at the box office. John Wick, a movie from Hollywood, does a lot better.
Even last week’s and last to last week’s episodes of Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar and Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway are performing better than Bheed. Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway made $60,000 in theater chains, and Friday’s performance of Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar brought in an additional $1,120,000.
Before its release, Bheed was dubbed “anti-India” by some social media users. There are enough people celebrating it and thumping their chests, which is fantastic, according to director Anubhav Sinha “However, someone needs to raise these issues as well. I love Indians for being Indians, and I strive to be a better Indian than those who thought my film was anti-Indian. Why don’t you fault your mother? You criticize your sister, mother, and father but adore them all. Why do you find fault with them? You believe they can improve because you want them to.”
