Bhushan Kumar’s Thadam Hindi version will star Aditya Roy Kapur.

Murad Khetani and Bhushan Kumar’s Thadam are on a quest to tell excellent stories to their audiences. Following the huge success of Kabir Singh, the producing team has announced a number of significant projects, including Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Sandeep Vanga’s Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, and now the Hindi version of the Tamil smash Thadam. Aditya Roy Kapur has been recruited on board by the producer couple to play the lead character in this action thriller.

This yet-to-be-titled thriller, which is based on actual events, will feature Aditya Roy Kapur in two entirely distinct roles for the first time. The film, directed by newcomer Vardhan Ketkar, is set to begin production in September of this year.

“I am motivated and delighted to be a part of conveying such a fascinating story,” adds Aditya Roy Kapur, who is looking forward to working on this demanding role. The original picture was engrossing and interesting, and it made an indelible effect on me. As an actor, getting the chance to play two roles requires twice the preparation and twice the difficulty, and I’m up for it! I am looking forward to working with Bhushanji, Murad Bhai, and Vardhan to bring this exciting thriller to the screen soon.”

Producer Bhushan Kumar’s Thadam film discusses his recent collaboration with Murad Khetani and his re-teaming with Aditya Roy Kapur, saying, “I was ecstatic when Murad Bhai mentioned the possibility of a Hindi remake of Thadam, which had earned a lot of praise in the south. Collaboration with like-minded people is usually enjoyable, which is why I like working with Murad Bhai. Aditya’s most recent project with us was an action picture, and everyone adored him in that part. We all felt that he would be a good fit for the characters in this “…

Murad Khetani, the producer of Thadam, has been eager to adapt the film for the Hindi audience since its debut in 2019. “When I saw Thadam, I instinctively understood that this narrative needed to reach the masses,” he said of the film. Soon after, I contacted the Tamil filmmakers and obtained the rights to remake the film in Hindi. When I told Bhushanji about the tale, he was instantly on board. Aditya has been doing fantastic work, and his image as an action hero has received a lot of praise. We approached him since our film required a powerful personality like his, and he immediately agreed to join us. We’re also excited to collaborate with Vardhan Ketkar, who is making his directorial debut.

Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios are producing the film.
