Boney Kapoor describes Khushi Kapoor’s first film The Archies as a “dream project,” and says that Raj Kapoor was a huge admirer of the comics.
The Archies is Zoya Akhtar’s second directorial endeavor, and it stars Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. Celebrities have been reminiscing how The Archies was a part of their life since the film’s announcement. While Amitabh Bachchan referred to Agastya’s debut as “another SONrise” in the family, Shah Rukh Khan sent his daughter the loveliest greeting. Boney Kapoor recently commented about The Archies in an interview with ETimes.
The producer described the film as a “dream project,” adding that it would “take the elder generation viewers on a nostalgic journey since all of us have been great fans of Archie.” He also noted that the films intended demographic is young people, making the picture “a double whammy.” “In any case, the kids will enjoy the legendary universe of The Archies,” he says.
Boney Kapoor also recalls Raj Kapoor being a great admirer of Archie and always having the most recent issue of the comic. His dressing room and shower were littered with Archie comics.” While visiting Raj’s uncle’s house as children, one of the benefits was obtaining to read the newest Archie comics,” he said.

In terms of work, Boney Kapoor is scheduled to work with superstar Ajith Kumar for the third time in AK61, directed by H Vinoth. Manju Warrier plays the protagonist in the film as well.
