Shankar Mahadevan performed in San Jose, California, and Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh attended. Deepika’s parents and sister were also in attendance.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently had a wonderful time in the United States while attending a Shankar Mahadevan concert. Deepika’s parents Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, as well as her sister Anisha Padukone, were also present. The family was photographed and videotaped at the event in San Jose, California, and posed for a photo with Shankar and his wife, Sangeeta Mahadevan.

For the concert, the entire family was dressed in ethnic attire. Deepika was dressed in a green suit, while Ranveer Singh was dressed in a yellow kurta. Fellow concertgoers’ videos of Ranveer and Deepika dancing to Shankar’s song Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe from Dil Chahta Hai went viral on social media.

One video showed Ranveer from the stage speaking about his mother-in-law Ujjala while Shankar stood next to him. According to him, “It was banned for me to do so. You have no idea how terrified I am of my mother-in-law. She’s wagging her finger at me from the front row.”

Deepika and Ranveer also attended a Konkani Sammelan (conference) in San Jose, where the latter was invited as the keynote speaker. Ranveer was previously in London, where he posed for a photo with his Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-star Alia Bhatt.

Aside from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ranveer will appear in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, which is set to hit theaters on December 23. Deepika is working on Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Project K with Prabhas. Pathaan, which is set to be released on January 25, 2023, will also feature her alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
