Deepika Padukone was sighted with her father, former badminton champion Prakash
Padukone, visiting the Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati on Friday. They went to the shrine to celebrate Prakash Padukone’s 67th birthday. The father-daughter team was sighted on the temple grounds wearing purple shawls that they had received as a signal of blessing from the temple priest.
The actor was dressed in a white embroidered kurta-salwar with a matching mask. She and her father were both dressed in the silk scarves they had received from the shrine. Anisha Padukone, her sister, was also seen.
Deepika and her family had previously visited the Tirupati temple to commemorate her first wedding anniversary. She was dressed in a crimson silk saree, while her husband Ranveer Singh was dressed in a beige kurta-pajama. Their parents and siblings accompanied them on their journey to the temple.
Deepika will also be seen for the first time with Hrithik Roshan. The two will appear together in Fighter, which will be published in September of next year.
