Fantastic Beasts 3 is newly titled The Secrets of Dumbledore

Fantastic Beasts 3, the much-anticipated sequel, finally has a title. The creators of the Harry Potter spinoff stated that the next film would be named The Secrets of Dumbledore, based on JK Rowling’s characters. The picture will be released in theatres worldwide on April 15, 2022, according to Warner Bros.

After a team member tested positive for the new coronavirus in February, development on Fantastic Beasts 3 had to be suspended. Despite shooting delays, the picture is on track to be released three months ahead of plan. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the fantasy picture will be released in theatres on July 15 of the following year, but now it will release on April 15, 2022.

AN INTRODUCTION TO FANTASTIC BEASTS 3
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a fantasy film franchise set 70 years before the events of the Harry Potter series. David Yates, who helmed the first two Fantastic Beasts films as well as several Harry Potter films, is directing this one.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them tells the story of younger versions of characters like Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law). Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, embarks on a global quest to discover and chronicle an astonishing diversity of supernatural animals. Mads Mikkelsen will play Gellert Grindelwald, the wicked wizard in the film. While Johnny Depp had already played the character in the movie, he was requested to reprise his role.

the actor was asked to step down by Warner Bros following his failed libel case against a British tabloid for a 2018 article that labeled him as a ‘wife-beater’.

Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, and Jessica Williams are among the cast members of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
