Farah Khan

Ananya Panday took to Instagram to share a fun video in which Farah Khan informed her that she had won the National Award for Khali Peeli.

According to appearances, the actor Ananya Panday was nearly duped into thinking she won the National Award for Khali Peeli. In a funny video that the actor shared, choreographer and film director Farah Khan rushes into the dressing room and says, “Ananya, you won the National Award for Khali Peeli!” in a very over-the-top way. Farah rains on Ananya’s parade by saying, “I was joking,” imitating Chunky Panday’s character Akhri Pasta in the Housefull series.

The conversation that ensued on Instagram was even more entertaining. Ananya’s father, Chunky Panday, commented, “Farah, you should get an award for overacting in this video.” Farah Khan said, “Apni Beti ko sambhal Pehle (Handle your daughter first).” Bhavana Panday responded with multiple laughing emojis.

Farah Khan Kunder and Ananya Kaat overacting for 50 rupees are always hilarious, as Ananya described in her video.

Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with Student Of The Year 2, which also featured Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Later, she appeared in Pati, Patni Aur Woh, and Khali Peeli, both starring Ishaan Khatter. She was most recently seen in Shakun Batra’s domestic noir Gehraiyaan, which also starred Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Naseeruddin Shah. She is now anticipating the release of Liger, a film starring Vijay Deverakonda that was filmed in both Hindi and Telugu. Puri Jagannadh, together with Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur, directed the film.

Meanwhile, Farah Khan, who debuted in Bollywood with the 2004 film Main Hoon Na, has directed various films, including Om Shanti Om, Tees Maar Khan, and Happy New Year. Farah has previously told Bollywood Hungama, “I’ll create when I want to.” When I want to create anything from my heart, it will happen. I tried to do a film with Rohit Shetty, but it didn’t work out for a variety of reasons.” She went on to say that she doesn’t mind not obtaining critical recognition for her picture, but she would like general acclaim.”No one should lose money,” the adage goes. Attending the theatre is “paisa vasool hona chahiye,” as the saying goes.
