Fast & Furious 9 will hit Indian theatres on August 5th.

Universal Pictures has set a release date for Fast & Furious 9, the ninth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise. And it’s coming to a theatre near you. The film will be released in India on August 5th and will be the first big-budget action film to be distributed solely in theatres this year. The film will be released in the following languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

The Fast & Furious 9 franchise began as a narrative about illicit street racing and developed into a story about a close-knit group of criminals and spies. Since the first film was released in 2001, it has grossed over $5 billion globally, making it one of Hollywood’s most profitable series in India. With its international release, the film has grossed more than USD 500 million. Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) are seen living a tranquil life with their little boy before they are called to assist foil a hazardous scheme in the current installment. The action and drama will be magnified this time, and automobile chases will be much more spectacular, especially when a rocket shoots a car into space.

F9 is the ninth film in the renowned Fast & Furious franchise, and it was released in the United States, Canada, China, Russia, Korea, Hong Kong, and the Middle East.
