Gauri Khan claims Shah Rukh Khan has a “eye for interiors” and assisted in the design of his office

Gauri Khan stated that Shah Rukh Khan was very interested in the redesign of Red Chillies Entertainment’s Mumbai office.

Gauri Khan has carved out a career as an interior designer. In a new interview, Gauri, who is also a film producer, shared her design philosophy. She also discussed her favourite interior design project and husband Shah Rukh Khan’s interior design abilities. She stated that the couple collaborated to redesign the actor’s Mumbai office.

Gauri said Shah Rukh was an important part of the creative process when it came to designing the office of their production company Red Chillies Entertainment. She praised her husband’s design abilities, saying he had a “keen eye for interiors.” “While the Red Chillies office was being renovated, he was extremely passionate.” He had a large say in the design, including suggestions for colours and possible uses for the ceiling and flooring. He was very interested in that project and likes to participate whenever possible. “He gave his approval to all of the project’s designs,” Gauri told Eastern Eye.

Gauri Khan Designs, a Mumbai-based interior design firm, also discussed Mannat, Shah Rukh, and her family’s Mumbai home. Gauri described her Mumbai home as her most memorable interior design project, saying, “It’s so personal and an ever-evolving project for me as I keep redoing corners of the house, including my kids’ rooms.”

Gauri will soon launch online designer workshops. On social media, many celebrities supported her new project. Celebs ranging from actor Arjun Kapoor to Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Kapoor shared photos on Instagram Stories of goodies sent by Gauri to celebrate her new venture. Given the interior designer’s long-standing friendships with many Bollywood celebrities, it’s no surprise that her firm Gauri Khan Designs has designed interiors for many stars, including actors Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, filmmaker Karan Johar, and fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

During a recent event in Delhi, Shah Rukh referred to Gauri as “a wonderful designer.” “In my house, the majority of the items purchased for the house are obviously purchased by the lady of the house, my wife Gauri.” “You are not permitted to interfere with the design in the house because she is a wonderful designer herself,” Shah Rukh stated.
