Golden Globes 2023: The song “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR” wins the award for “Best Original Song in a Motion Picture”

The song “Naatu Naatu” from S.S. Rajamouli’s masterpiece “RRR” won the Best Original Song, Motion Picture award at the 80th Golden Globes. This means that India is likely to win the Golden Globe in 2023.

“Naatu Naatu” was up against “Carolina” from “Where the Crawdads Sing,” “Ciao Papa” from “Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio,” “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

M. M. Keeravani, who writes music, and his wife, Srivalli, were there to receive the honor.

He gave the award to Rajamouli, actor Ram Charan, and actor NTR Jr.

“Thank the visitor very much for this prestigious award,” he said when he got it. This award goes to SS Rajamouli because of his vision. I’m grateful to him for always believing in me and supporting my work. N.T. Rama Rao and Ram Charan, who danced with all their strength.”

NTR Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris are all in “RRR.”

It’s about two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, their made-up friendship, and their fight against the British Raj. The story takes place in the 1920s and looks at the time in both of their lives when they chose to live in the shadows before they joined the fight for their country.
