Hasseen Dillruba has been accused of glorifying love by Taapsee Pannu.

Haseen Dillruba, Taapsee Pannu’s most recent film, has received mixed reviews. While some have appreciated the film’s aesthetic and finale, others have been less enthusiastic and have panned it for a variety of reasons. The poisonous nature of relationships in the film is one of the reasons that has enraged social media users.

“I rarely comment on films because I always feel that no matter how bad they are made, a lot of effort from a lot of people went into them -but I’m making an exception here for and she has the best lines and acute role in the first half -it’s the story & the narrative which makes it absolutely impossible to bear -toxic masculine love -a woman needing to prove herself in the kitchen while being dragged around by her husband -but I’m making an exception Please don’t make love and violence into idols,” wrote documentary filmmaker Yasmin Kidwai on Twitter.

Taapsee Pannu reacted by claiming that her film Haseen Dillruba was a reflection of ordinary life. “I think we should cease raising voice against all those powers that restrict the voice of cinema when the reality is portrayed if we want films to not reflect the society we live in and always depict what is the ideal world to be in,” Pannu said on Twitter.

The netizen continued by saying that it didn’t sit well with her, but that the joyful ending made it all better. She went on to remark that Rani was a fun character and that she enjoyed the actress’s performance.

“Then perhaps you should realize that your happiness is not shared by everyone. I wish I could say what LOSS meant to each of the characters, but that would be a spoiler for my film. Please keep in mind that emotions and sentiments are highly subjective in people “Taapsee penned the piece.
