Before the release of JugJugg Jeeyo, the creators published a blooper video. Among those who appear in the film are Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Kapoor.

The creators of JugJugg Jeeyo have shared bloopers and behind-the-scenes footage from the forthcoming film, which show the cast having a great time during shooting. Anil Kapoor was the centerpiece of the bloopers video, dancing about in a towel and demanding up to 400 retakes for a sequence.

Karan Johar, the film’s co-producer, went to social media on Friday to release a video of bloopers from the film as well as interviews with the stars. He titled it, “Time flies when you’re having fun, and after all the laughing and joy shared on the sets of #JugJuggJeeyo, the film is just a week away from its premiere! JugJugg Hasso – who knows, the 24th of June could come sooner! Anil and Varun Dhawan giggled as Anil retook a line for their role.

Kiara Advani dubbed Anil the “funniest guy” in the JugJugg Jeeyo family after seeing a BTS video of him bouncing about in a towel. Varun stated of the actor, “Anil Sir psyches himself up before everything,” before mimicking the actor who portrays his father in JugJugg Jeeyo. Kiara also imitated Anil, revealing that he claims before the scene that he would require at least 20-50 takes. The next footage shows Anil indicating that the patio scene between him and Varun should include 50 to 400 retakes.

During the patio scene, Varun and Anil both gaze at the monitor, and Varun remarks that they seem like father and son. Anil answers, “As long as I’m not your grandfather.” Kiara busted out laughing when Varun shouted at her during another episode in the video. Another included Varun and Prajakta Koli doing many takes on an improvised scenario. Varun’s co-stars have also reported that the actor disappears after each scene to examine the monitor. Anil also mentioned Maniesh Paul, saying that he used to threaten the actor with taking his punch lines if he overacted.

Dharma Productions posted another video to its YouTube account in which the performers discussed their roles and their experience working on the film. According to Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor’s character Bheem, who portrays her character Geeta’s spouse in the film, is the “fakeest guy ever.”

The Raj Mehta-directed film, which also stars Tisca Chopra and Varun Sood, is set to be released on June 24.
