Janhit Mein Jaari box office day one: Nushratt’s film earns just 20-30 lakh rupees

Janhit Mein Jaari

Janhit Mein Jaari: Nushrratt Bharuchha’s film had a disappointing box office debut when it was released on Friday. In theatres, the picture competed with Jurassic World Dominion.

Janhit Mein Jaari, Nushratt Bharuchha’s newest release, was promising but did not get the desired reaction at the box office on its first day. In the film, the actor portrays a condom vendor. It also competed with the Hollywood picture Jurassic World Dominion, which had a bigger opening at roughly 8 crores.

Jai Basantu Singh made his directorial debut with the film, which was penned by Raaj Shaandilyaa of Dream Girl fame. According to a report on Bollywood Hungama, early estimates for the film’s first day receipts indicate that it debuted at approximately 20-30 lakh. According to Indianexpress.com, the Janhit Mein Jaari crew said that the film was watched by around 50,000 people on the first day and that the film’s total global collection stands at 56.70 lakh.

According to the Hindustan Times, “Janhit Mein Jaari, the newest offering in Bollywood’s PSA-but-comedy genre, starts so wonderfully, it’s not even funny.” It is, in fact, very much so. The first half of the picture is so astonishingly great that it seems too fantastic to be real. As a result, in the second part, they toss it down a high, steep in one of the most horrific murders of a decent movie witnessed in recent memory.”

In a remark on the film’s theme, director Jai Basantu Singh stated, “In a country where the term “condom” is still considered offensive, I had to tread carefully. I was treading water. I didn’t want this short to be preachy while yet conveying a positive message. I didn’t want people to mock it, but I also wanted to make this video enjoyable. But things gradually came into place, and I was able to work with the great actress Nushrratt Bharucha, who is the perfect fit for this part. The rest of the cast was equally supportive. I truly want this picture to be a family entertainment film rather than a television ad that people uncomfortably walk away from at home.”
