KANGANA EXPLAINS HER POSITION ON INDIA’S INDEPENDENCE.

President Ram Nath Kovind recently presented Kangana Ranaut with the Padma Shri award in New Delhi. She did a television interview after receiving the honor, in which she remarked

In an attempt to defend herself, she posted a photo from a book on India’s battle for freedom. Kangana Ranaut commented, “Everything is described in detail in the same interview, including Subhash Chandra Bose’s, Rani Laxmibai’s, and Veer Savarkar ji’s sacrifices in the 1857 first collective battle for liberation. 1857 I understand, but I am unaware of whatever war occurred in 1947; if someone can educate me on this, I will return my Padma Shri and apologize as well.”

Kangana then went on to say that when she did a feature film about Rani Laxmi Bai in 1857, she undertook a significant study into India’s first war for independence.

She added, “nationalism rose so did the right-wing … but why did it die a sudden death? and why did Gandhi let Bhagat Singh die … why did Neta Bose was killed and never got Gandhi Ji’s support? why the line of partition was drawn by a white man… ?instead of celebrating freedom why do Indians kill each other some of the answers I am seeking please help me find answers (sic).”
