Kangana Ranaut movie, which was supposed to come out on Dussehra 2022, gets pushed back?

Kangana Ranaut

On Armed Forces Flag Day in December 2021, RSVP Movies announced that the Kangana Ranaut movie Tejas would come out on October 5, 2022, which was also the day of the Dussehra festival. But now it’s being said that the movie might not come out as planned.

Bollywood Hungama said that a source said, “The release date for Tejas was October. But since the movie has a lot of visual effects, there is still a lot of work to do. But even though there isn’t much work left to do, it will still take a while. So, the release date was moved back so that the movie wouldn’t be rushed.”

The source also said that the film, which will be Sarvesh Mewara’s first as a director, will now come out in December of this year or January of 2023. There isn’t a set date yet. Ronnie Screwvala started the production company RSVP movies, but they haven’t made an official announcement yet.

Kangana Ranaut, who plays Indian Air Force pilot Tejas Gill, posted the movie’s release date and a caption about it on December 7, 2017 “Here is the story of an inspiring woman who chose to rule the skies. The movie #Tejas is a tribute to the Indian Air Force. It will be shown in theatres near you on Dussehra, which is on October 5, 2022.”

In the meantime, Kangana is working on the set of her next movie, Emergency, in which she plays the former Prime Minister of India. Kangana is the main character in the movie, but she also directed and wrote the story for it. She also produced it under her own company, Manikarnika films.

Before Emergency, Kangana and Krish Jagarlamudi worked together to make the movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The 2019 movie about the life of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi was based on her story.
