Kangana Ranaut praised Deepika Padukone’s look at the Oscars after she made a comment about her depression

Kangana Ranaut praised Deepika Padukone just at Oscars, years after making a joke about her depression in a way that wasn’t clear to everyone. She said that Deepika is proof that Indian women are indeed the best because she is so successful.

Kangana Ranaut, an actor, praised Deepika Padukone for introducing the Oscars performance of the enduring song Naatu Naatu from SS Rajamouli’s RRR. On Monday morning, Kangana shared a tweet from Deepika in which she described the dance.

“How gorgeous Deepika Padukone looks,” Kangana wrote, “not easy to stand here at all holding the entire country together, carrying its image, reputation, and speaking so graciously as well as confidently on those delicate shoulders. Deepika is a powerful example of why Indian women are the best, standing tall as a testament.

Kangana’s compliments to Deepika come a few decades after she made a subtle dig at Deepika. Kangana had asked her fans to watch her movie Judgementall Hai Kya on World Mental Health Day in 2020. She also have tweeted, “The movie we made to raise awareness about mental health was taken to court by the people who run anxiety ki dukan. After a media ban, the name of the movie was changed right before it came out, which made marketing hard, but it’s a good movie, so go watch it today.”
