Karan Johar and Preity Zinta become sentimental as ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ turns 19 years old
On Monday, the romance movie ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta turned 19 years old. To commemorate the occasion, director Karan Johar uploaded a series of throwback photos to Instagram and captioned them, “A lifetime of memories in a single instant! This film provided me so much more than that; it brought me happiness, unbreakable connections, a new perspective on storytelling, and, of course, the last film set I could be on with my father. And I shall be eternally grateful to this film for that! #19YearsOfKalHoNaaHo.”
In the photos, Karan Johar revealed a series of vintage images from the film’s production. On the other side, actor Preity Zinta tweeted a video with the message, “This Thanksgiving weekend, commemorating Kal Ho Naa Ho’s anniversary. This scene is one of my favorites because numerous pages of conversation were shot in a single take. Several close-ups were added later. This moment is all about thankfulness and appreciating the present. This was my happiest saddest film. So thankful for the chance to be a part of films and movies that I appreciate and believe in #KalHoNaaHo #Gratitude #Thanksgiving #Weekend #Ting.”
Alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in the action-thriller flick Pathaan. The film is scheduled for release on January 25, 2023. In addition, he has Atlee’s ‘Jawaan’ and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ on the horizon. Saif, on the other hand, was most recently featured in the action-thriller film “Vikram Vedha” opposite Hrithik Roshan, and he will next be seen in the pan-Indian film “Adipurush” alongside south actor Prabhas and Kriti Sanon.
