Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 outperforms Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi in its first week, racing towards 100 crore

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has grossed 92 crores in its first week, starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu. It is expected to reach the 100 crore mark within the next day or two.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 by Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani has completed its first week in theatres and is still doing well at the box office. The film now has a domestic total of 92 crores and is one of the top three Bollywood films expected to have the biggest opening week in 2022. It is second only to The Kashmir Files and has outperformed Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi in its first week.

While The Kashmir Files grossed 97.30 crores in its first week, Gangubai Kathiawadi grossed 68.93 crores in its first seven days. RRR and KGF Chapter 2 have higher first-week collections than South films dubbed in Hindi.

Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst, shared the film’s box office figures on Twitter, writing, “#BhoolBhulaiyaa2 is EXTRAORDINARY in Week 1… SUPERB HOLD in high-current circuits… Despite multiple new films this week, it is these sectors that will contribute to a strong total… On [second] Saturday, we will surpass 100 crores.”
