For several years, the 35-year-old Mean Girls star has resided in the skyscraper-studded metropolis of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Hollywood celebrities seeking to escape the spotlight long have flocked to the flashy emirate, where there are no paparazzi to track the many VIPs who hole up in luxurious villas on the city’s palm-shaped artificial island.

Shammas, a Dubai resident who states on his LinkedIn page that he is the assistant vice president of international wealth management at Credit Suisse, is a mystery. He worked in Kuwait and Bahrain for BNP Paribas, one of the major French banks, before joining the Swiss bank that services some of the world’s wealthiest people.

The 33-year-old singer, according to Page Six, said of her new album, “It contains a lot of recollections from my time in California, as well as a recollection of things I saw and felt when I was in my early twenties. The album’s remaining tunes will be upbeat and enjoyable. My ambition is to create a joyful record that we can all dance to.”

Lohan has kept a quiet profile since relocating to Dubai, claiming that her partying days are behind her.
