Masaba Gupta reveals she was judged on a date for eating ‘aloo and rice.’

Masaba Gupta has discussed her worst dates. She claimed that she was judged based on how she ate sizzlers and ‘aloo and rice.’

Masaba Gupta recently discussed her dating life. Neena Gupta’s daughter, the fashion designer, and actor admitted to having both good and bad dates. While Masaba was occasionally ghosted, she admitted that she, too, had ghosted people for good reasons.

Masaba was previously married to Madhu Mantena, a film producer. The couple tied the knot in 2015 and divorced in 2019. She is currently engaged to actor Satyadeep Misra, who was previously married to Aditi Rao Hydari.

Masaba recalled her worst date in an interview, saying that she was once judged by the way she ate sizzlers. ‘I get very irritated when I cannot eat properly, I am somebody who loves my food and loves to eat it much whole,’ she told Filmfare.

“I was on one date where I felt like I was being judged by the way I ate a sizzler,” Masaba explained. There is no elegant way to eat a sizzler because when you cut something, something goes flying and something happens. So that was a bad one, where I was judged solely for eating my aloo (potato) and rice.” Masaba went on to say that her perspective on love had evolved

Masaba was most recently seen in the Amazon Prime Video web series Modern Love, Mumbai. I Love Thane, a story by Dhruv Sehgal, featured her. In the story, she played a 34-year-old Mumbaikar with no boyfriend or husband. It also featured Ritwik Bhowmik, Prateik Babbar, Aadar Malik, and Dolly Singh. Masaba Masaba, the second installment of her Netflix series, will be her next appearance. She also runs her fashion label, House of Masaba.
