Mrunal Thakur was spotted of the trailer for her upcoming film Jersey.

Mrunal Thakur, who plays Jersey in the upcoming sports drama, says the film is really important to her heart because she worked so hard on it.

At the trailer premiere of the film, actor Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, as well as the whole cast and crew of Jersey, interacted with SeetaGeeta.

Despite being under lockdown, Mrunal Thakur has had three major digital releases, beginning with Ghost Stories, Toofan, and Dhamaka. Her next film is now set to be released in theatres.

“The films that I have been a part of, they were complete and supposed to release far earlier but just now they are releasing,” Mrunal remarked of her prior releases and upcoming movie. Jersey holds a particular place in my heart. I wanted this film to be shown in theatres so that everyone could see it with their families and appreciate it since it is so emotional.”

“This is a really meaningful film for all of us; we worked extremely hard on it, and I consider myself fortunate to have been a part of it; I can’t wait for everyone to see it,” Mrunal concluded.

Jersey is a remake of Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Telugu film of the same name, which he wrote and directed in 2019.

Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, has been making news since its release. The film’s trailer was released yesterday, and it has now gone viral. A memorable sequence from the trailer has become the buzz of the town.

Mrunal Thakur has opened up about the slapping scene during the Jersey trailer launch event. When producer Allu Aravind asks the actress “How can you slap my guy in the film what is this?,” Mrunal replies, You know more than me. I have hurt myself. It is like ‘How can I slap Shahid Kapoor?’ First of all No. It took me…” just in time, Shahid interrupted and said, “the guys who got slapped don’t get to feel bad. I am the guy who was slapped.”
