On Pankaj Kapur’s birthday, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput share family photos with him
On Sunday, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput wished his father, actor-filmmaker Pankaj Kapur, a happy birthday. He was given some priceless photographs from a recent family gathering.
On Sunday, actor-director Pankaj Kapur celebrated his birthday. Shahid Kapoor, his son, and Mira Rajput, his wife, both took to Instagram to wish him a happy birthday. They showed him photos from his daughter Sanah Kapur’s wedding celebration in March of this year.
Shahid wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Happy birthday dad,” after sharing a photo of him twinning with him in a black achkan, churidaar, and yellow pagri.
Mira also sent her father-in-law the same birthday greeting and a photo of herself, Pankaj, and Sanah Kapur from the latter’s wedding.
Sarah also posted some previously unseen photos from her wedding on Instagram to wish Pankaj.”Happy birthday to my rock, my father, in whose arms I always find my joy… I adore you even more than life itself. Happy birthday, Dad! #myfather #bestfather #family #love #mydaddybestest.”
Shahid was recently seen in his latest film, Jersey, alongside Pankaj. Pankaj played his coach in the film, while Shahid played a cricketer. Shahid had told Indianexpress.com about working with his father, “Roles like Arjun and Kabir are so challenging, and there’s pressure not to let the original film down.” And then there’s your father. So there was a lot to handle. Having him in all of those scenes, on the other hand, was extremely beneficial. As an actor, you have no choice but to give it you’re all.
Jersey, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, revolved around Arjun (Shahid Kapoor), a failed cricketer who decides to fulfill his dream of representing Team India for the sake of his son’s happiness. Mrunal Thakur also appeared in the film, a Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name. However, the film did not fare well at the box office and is now available on Netflix.
