‘Pathaan is a large and extraordinary film…’: Shekhar Ravjiani on the soundtrack of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s film

Pathaan, directed and written by Siddharth Anand, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in major roles. It will be out in January of next year.

Fans have been eager for more information about Pathaan since Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan announced it. Aside from the shooting and casting, one aspect of a Shah Rukh Khan film that everyone looks forward to is the music.

Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, a brilliant musical combo, wrote the soundtrack for Pathaan. Shekhar revealed to Bollywood Hungama about the experience of making music for Pathaan that he and Vishal have always worked with Siddharth Anand from the beginning of his career, and Pathaan is no exception.

We (Vishal and Shekhar) have collaborated with Siddharth Anand on every one of his projects from the beginning. And every step of the road has been exciting. Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, and Happy New Year – all tasks completed with Sir are a privilege (to be a part of it). In terms of music, this one (Pathaan) is a large and extremely remarkable film. As if this is going to be the biggest one yet. “Pathan for you,” Sheykhar remarked.

Pathaan is directed and written by Siddharth Anand, well known for his previous success War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham play key roles in this film starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana are also rumored to have big roles in the film, with Salman Khan appearing in a cameo.
