Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan to shoot for Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi film

Today, July 24, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan will begin filming their sci-fi thriller with filmmaker Nag Ashwin. The actors and crew attended a pooja ritual at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad before going on set. Deepika Padukone, who plays the female protagonist, will eventually join the cast. Vyjayanthi Movies, the production firm, will publish photos and videos from the puja later in the day.

Amitabh Bachchan was brought on board by Prabhas and Nag Ashwin last year to play a key part in the film. Without any previous notice, the untitled film started into production today. According to reports, this will be quick in Hyderabad.

There has been no official statement on the subject. However, on July 23, Amitabh Bachchan said on Twitter that he will be attending the muhurta of a new film, without providing any further details.

His message was as follows: “T 3975 -.. traveled.. and tomorrow’s mahurat of the first day.. a new film, a new beginning, a new environment ‘NEW’ is a word that never goes out of style… it increases exponentially (sic).”

The first schedule will be held in Ramoji Film City, where a new set has been built. Nag Ashwin has been working on the film’s pre-production for more than a year.

NAG ASHWIN’S NEW FILM IN DETAIL
Nag Ashwin’s most recent film, Mahanati, starred Keerthy Suresh and won a National Award. After a brief pause, he revealed his next project, which has Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan among the ensemble cast. Sangeeta Srinivas Rao, a legendary director, has been appointed as the mentor.

This is a science fiction film with a large budget, according to Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies is directing and producing the film. The film will be distributed in various languages, as previously stated.
