Priyanka praises Sushmita for responding to the trolls’ “gold digger” remark

Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, and Neha Dhupia have all come out in support of Sushmita Sen after she was labeled a “gold digger” for her relationship with the IPL founder Lalit Modi. On Sunday, the former Miss Universe wrote a note in response to those who try to bring her down with negative comments about the new chapter in her life.

Priyanka replied to Sushmita Sen’s post with “Tell em Queen!” and a fire emoji. “Such!” Neha simply wrote, accompanied by a fire and heart emoji. Ranveer Singh added heart emoticons to the comments section as well.

Sushmita responded to those who called her a “gold digger” by posting a photo of herself from an infinity pool with her back to the camera, along with a note. I love how nature unites all of its creation to experience oneness…and how divided we are when that balance is broken. It’s heartbreaking to see how miserable the world has become. The so-called intellectuals with their eccentricities….the ignorant with their cheap and sometimes amusing gossip. Friends I’ve never met and acquaintances I’ve never met…all with grand opinions and intimate knowledge of my life and character… The ‘Gold Digger’ is being monetized all the way!!! “Oh, these geniuses!”

and I’ve always (not so famously) preferred diamonds!! And, yes, I still buy them!!! I appreciate the continued outpouring of love from my friends and family. Please know that your Such is PERFECT because I’ve never lived on the ephemeral borrowed light of approval and applause. I am the Sun….perfectly balanced in my being and conscience!!”

Meanwhile, Lalit Modi responded to the trolls with a post on Instagram. When two people can’t be friends, “Magic can happen,” he said.

Lalit revealed his relationship with Sushmita last week when he posted photos of them together on Instagram. In some new and old photos, he referred to her as the “better-looking partner.”
