Raj Kundra, the husband of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, was granted bail in the pornographic case by a Mumbai court on a guarantee of Rs 50,000. Raj Kundra Bail in pornography case two months after the arrest.

According to the most recent information, the businessman is scheduled to be released from custody on Tuesday morning at about 10.30 a.m.

This comes after the businessman filed a bail application in court on Saturday, alleging that he was being made a “scapegoat” and that the supplemental charge sheet had no proof that he was actively involved in the development of allegedly problematic content.

The criminal branch, which is investigating the matter, recently filed a supplementary charge sheet against Kundra and three individuals in connection with the alleged fabrication of pornographic videos and their distribution through several applications.

Kundra was apprehended on July 19 and charged with violating pertinent provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act. He has been in judicial detention for the last two months.

He argued in his application that the prosecution has yet to produce a single particle of evidence linking the app ‘Hotshots’ to a criminal offense.

According to the investigating agency, Kundra and his colleagues were using the app to post and broadcast filthy information. There isn’t a single allegation in the whole additional charge sheet against Kundra that he was actively participating in any of the video shoots, according to the bail plea.

It went on to say that Kundra had been unfairly accused in the case. He was hauled by the police despite the fact that he was not identified in the FIR.

So far, the inquiry has revealed that Kundra was not engaged in any manner in the creation of the purported “questionable content.” He is also unconnected to the process of uploading or disseminating the allegedly problematic information, according to the bail application.
