Raksha Bandhan 2022: Sanjay Dutt shares a throwback photo with his father Sunil Dutt and his siblings
On Thursday, ‘Sanju Baba’ took to Instagram to share a rare photo of himself with his late father, actor Sunil Dutt, and sisters Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt. Walking down memory lane, Sanjay wrote to his sisters on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, ” “Knowing that you two will always be there for me makes me feel blessed and happier. @priyadutt & @namrata62, thank you for always being my rock. I adore both of you! Raksha Bandhan to all!”
Sunil Dutt is seen holding Namrata and Priya, while a younger-looking Sanjay stands next to him. They appeared to be leaning against a white car in the photo, which appeared to be taken outside of their home. A fan commented on the post, saying, “What a beautiful pic.” Another person stated, “God’s blessings on you. May it (your brother-sister bond) live a long time.” “Sir, you (Sanjay) are a legend,” said another. Chitrangada Singh, a Bollywood actor, left a heart in the comments section.
Sunil Dutt, a filmmaker, actor, and politician, died of a heart attack at his Mumbai home on May 25, 2005. Sanjay had a close relationship with his father and was his father’s constant support in all aspects of his life, as we all know. As evidenced by his post, the ‘Kalank’ actor must be missing his father today.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt was most recently seen in the period action film ‘Shamshera.’ ‘Shamshera,’ directed by Karan Malhotra, is set in the fictional city of Kaza, where a warrior tribe is held captive, enslaved, and tortured by an authoritarian commander going by name of Shudh Singh. This is the story of a man who became a slave, a slave who rose through the ranks to become a leader, and then a legend for his tribe. He does not stop fighting so that his people can live free and with dignity. Shamshera is his name.
‘Shamshera,’ produced by Aditya Chopra, was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on July 22, 2022.
