Ranbir Kapoor on dealing with paparazzi after the birth of his child

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor is an extremely private individual who is rarely spotted by the paparazzi. When captured by the camera, the actor is a man of few words and prefers to keep his distance from excessive media attention. He has now revealed his love-hate relationship with the media and why he sometimes enjoys giving them a hard time.

Ranbir told RJ Stutee on her Hindustan Times chat show Aur Batao that he has always been exposed to the pop culture in India: “I used to have them hide outside my house. There were capers outside my bungalow, and they would hide there with their cameras 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They followed me previously.”

He continued, “I have conflicting feelings about them. I believe they are revealing my secrets, so I should engage in a game of hiding and seeking with them. I also attempt to give them a difficult time. They will have been waiting for hours when I say, “Park the car here, and I’ll sneak out through the back door.” If they screw me over, I can also screw them.”

However, Ranbir acknowledges that this is the nature of their work. When asked how he would handle media attention after the birth of his child, he responded, “I believe I will sit down with them and have a conversation.” If you sit down with them and share something meaningful, I believe they will comprehend.”

Last month, Alia announced her pregnancy with an ultrasound photograph. In the photo, Ranbir was also seen with his back to the camera. The couple wed in April and will be seen on screen for the first time in the September release of Brahmastra.
