Rashmika Mandanna, an actress, recently made her runway debut, walking for designer Varun Bahl at the India Couture Week (ICW) 2022 in New Delhi. The actor, who admitted to having butterflies before the event, took to Instagram to share her first-time experience walking the runway.

The actor looked stunning in a red lehenga in a series of photos and videos that circulated on the internet. Bahl said in a social media post about his new collection and Rashmika’s lehenga, “Rashmika Mandanna is in a blood red ensemble with a fully embellished corset, and a multi-color floral lehenga, adorned with appliqués such as sequins, cutdana, beads, and crystals, which show how our Couture Collection was inspired by flora and fauna.”

The 26-year-old actor was ecstatic about her first appearance at a fashion week, writing on social media, “1st time in Delhi…

First place at fashion week! I had butterflies in my stomach… I tried to walk like a professional model… It was clear that it did not work out. My personality of just smiling and having a good time took over… but I did have a blaa Varun Bahl, thank you for taking me on my first walk! It’s a one-of-a-kind item. I like your art and your vibe. Cheers to doing even more fun things together. Thank you, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), and thank you for making this such a fun experience!”

Rashmika Mandanna will make her Bollywood debut in Mission Majnu, starring alongside Siddharth Malhotra. She will also appear in the film Goodbye alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta.
