Rasik Dave, a veteran actor, died on Friday as a result of kidney failure. He was 65. His wife Ketki Dave, who played Daksha Virani in the TV program Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and his daughter Riddhi Dave survive him. On Saturday, the actor’s final rituals will be performed.

Rasik Dave was a versatile performer who appeared on stage, television, and on film. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit tweeted, “Sad to learn about the demise of a good friend Rasik Dave who was a diverse performer on stage, television, and film due to kidney failure.” His wife, Ketaki Dave, and their entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. Rasik made his acting debut in the Gujarati film Putra Vadhu. He also appeared in various theatre productions and portrayed Nanda in the mythological TV drama Mahabharata. In 2006, he and his wife Ketki appeared on the dance reality show Nach Baliye.
