Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, and Others Will Attend IIFA 2023 The Press Briefing

The International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA) will bring its 23rd edition to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on February 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2023. This event is the largest celebration of Indian cinema and honours everyone involved in the industry.

Today, a press conference was conducted in Mumbai to launch the countdown. Present on the occasion were Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi, and Nucleya, who will share the spotlight at the mega grand awards with other Bollywood A-listers such as Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, Nouf Al-Boushelaibi, Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications at DCT Abu Dhabi, Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing at Miral – Taghrid AlSaeed, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director of Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India, and Nishant Pitti, CEO and Co-Founder of Ease My Trip, joined them.

Miral, Abu Dhabi’s foremost curator of immersive locations and experiences, is collaborating with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) to host the highly anticipated event. This is the seventh straight year that NEXA has served as the title sponsor.

Salman Khan has been a member of the IIFA family for more than twenty years. “I am excited to return to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Last year, I co-hosted the awards with Ritesh Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul, and I not only made everyone there laugh, but also cry, by baring my heart to them. This time, I will make them rise and dance with me as we celebrate Indian movies around the world,” he vowed.

The IIFA stage will also be illuminated by Varun Dhawan’s finest work. The multi-talented actor, who won prizes in 2015 and 2017 for his performance in a comedic part, is thrilled to perform for the third time. “IIFA is a must-attend event for me, and I cannot wait to return to my beloved city. It’s a stage that allows me to connect with fans from all over the world, and I’m going to warn them to watch out for the Bhediya, The actor’s sardonic comment was met with applause and chuckles from the audience.

Farhan Akhtar, Salman Khan’s successor, was also present during the media interaction. Farhan will co-host the IIFA Awards alongside Maniesh Paul and Abhishek Bachchan. “I have received IIFA awards for best acting debut, supporting acting performance, directing, script, and picture. It offers you access to the largest audience, and I look forward to interacting with and entertaining them in my new capacity, said an ecstatic Farhan.

Co-host Maniesh Paul was similarly enthusiastic. Last year, I presented with Salman Khan and Riteish Deshmukh (Deshmukh). It was fantastic! This year, Farah co-hosted IIFA Rocks with Aparshakti Khurrana, and she cannot wait to return to Yas Island. According to Badshah, IIFA Rocks demonstrates Bollywood’s dominance in the entertainment industry. The youngest IIFA nominee, Sunidhi Chauhan, reminded us that IIFA has expanded from a single starry night to a three-day celebration. “It becomes larger each year, yet the heart still desires more. And with IIFA Rocks, we will provide you with even more!” she promised.

Amit Trivedi echoed the sentiments of his peers, stating, “When we speak about hearts pounding in unison, let me remind you that IIFA Rocks is bringing Valentine’s Day to you early this year. What other cause could there be for a downpour of love? He claims that IIFA “isn’t simply another stage; it’s a remarkable night.”

Karan Johar and Farah Khan will headline the upcoming edition of IIFA Rocks, the world’s greatest musical spectacle. It will feature performances by Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Nucleya, among others.
