Salman Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by performing aarti at his sister Arpita Khan’s Mumbai home. Salman took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to share a video from the celebrations. Salman dressed for the occasion in a white shirt, blue denim, and black shoes.

A pooja thali was given to Salman in the video (plate). The actor motioned to a nearby child, who was staring at him, to join him. Salman smiled and began performing the aarti after the boy shook his head. He also smiled at the girl standing next to the boy.

Arpita, her husband-actor Aayush Sharma, and their son, Ahil Sharma, were also seen performing aarti together in the video. Salman was also seen dancing to the music played at the event, while Arpita stood next to him, holding her sleeping daughter Ayat.

In the video, actor Riteish Deshmukh can also be seen performing aarti. Salma, Salman’s mother, was spotted sitting on a sofa near the altar. The celebrations drew a large crowd. They were seen clapping in time with the music. Salman captioned the video, “Ganpati Bappa Morya! (folded hands emoji).”

“Om Gan Ganapataye Namo Namah @aaysharma,” Arpita captioned a series of photos of the Ganesha idol.

Before Salman, actress Katrina Kaif, who is close to Salman’s sister Arpita, visited her and prayed to the deity. Vicky Kaushal, her actor husband, accompanied her. Along with Katrina, he smiled at the cameras. Vicky wore a yellow kurta and she wore a lime-yellow sharara. Sohail Khan, Salman and Arpita’s brother, was also seen outside the residence.

Riteish was accompanied by his wife, actress Genelia D’souza, who also paid a visit to Arpita on this special occasion. Their children, Riaan and Rahul Deshmukh accompanied them.

Salman is working on several projects, including Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, and Shehnaaz Gill also appear in the film. Farhad Samji’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is set to be released on December 30, 2022. Tiger 3 also stars Katrina Kaif.
