Schoolchildren wave as Kareena Kapoor holds Jehangir Ali Khan in her arms

Schoolchildren welcomed Kareena Kapoor and her son Jehangir Ali Khan as they exited their Mumbai residence on Wednesday.

Kareena Kapoor was seen out and about with her younger son Jehangir Ali Khan. Kareena walked out of their home with Jeh in her arms on Wednesday. She also kissed him as they proceeded towards their vehicle. Jeh’s nanny was also observed following them. Kareena was met by several young admirers as she drove away with Jeh.

Kareena was seen leaving her residence in a casual blue shirt and pants in a video uploaded by a paparazzi account, while Jeh was dressed in a striped T-shirt and a pair of shorts. As the mother-daughter duo sat inside the facility, the footage showed young youngsters in school uniforms laughing and waving at Kareena and Jeh. Fans rated the video as ‘sweet,’ and wrote love emojis in the post’s comments section.

Kareena is now shooting Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X, her OTT debut. On Tuesday, she shared a photo from the sets on Instagram Stories with the caption “Aaj Ka Mood (Today’s mood),” along with a star emoji.

John was also with Kareena while she shot the project in West Bengal in May. The actress referred to Jeh as her “best man” in a photo in which she was making funny expressions to keep him interested while getting her make-up done.

Apart from her work on the Netflix series, which also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, Kareena is looking forward to the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, her forthcoming film with Aamir Khan. The film, a replica of Tom Hanks’ 1994 film Forrest Gump, will be released in theatres on August 11.

Kareena earlier said that her son Jehangir was a part of Laal Singh Chaddha in certain ways since she was pregnant at the time. “A pandemic, two lockdowns, and a baby later… one of my most precious films… mainly because my Jeh baba is very much a part of it,” she posted on Instagram (in my tummy). Thank you Advait and Aamir for include not only myself but both of us… it’s something I’ll remember forever.” On February 21, 2021, Jehangir was born.
