Shilpa Shetty revealed her new superwoman avatar Avni for her forthcoming film Nikamma.

Shilpa Shetty returned to social media a few days after announcing her vacation with a new superwoman persona. She released a new teaser trailer for her next flick Nikamma, in which she dresses up like a superhero with lightning rushing through her body.

Fans were ecstatic and remarked on the video, “Welcome back, queen!” “Hotness personified!” wrote her sister Shamita Shetty. One admirer referred to her as ‘desi Gal Gadot,’ alluding to the Hollywood actor who portrayed Wonder Woman in the DC flicks.

Shilpa has already declared her social media break on Instagram. “I’m so tired of the monotony, of everything appearing the same… I’m leaving social media till I find a new persona.” However, many fans immediately realised that it was a publicity gimmick.

Shilpa Shetty is also working on Sukhee, in addition to Nikamma. Shilpa started in March that Sukhee is a slice-of-life film and posted the first poster. “Thodi bedhadak si hoon main,” she wrote. Khuli kitaab zindagi hai. To what extent does Duniya besharam kehti hai? Khwaab, kisi se kam nahin hain! (I am rather fearless.) My life is a public record. So what if the world considers me a liar, my aspirations are the same as everyone else’s).” Sonal Joshi will helm the film, which will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Shikhaa Sharma.
