Soundarya Sharma, Gautam Vig, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia have been confirmed for season 16 of Bigg Boss

Bigg Boss

In less than a week, Bigg Boss 16 will premiere on television, with Salman Khan serving as host. As contracts are being signed, the final contestant list is being whittled down. After providing you with the first set of confirmed contestants, indianexpress.com now provides you with a few more celebrity names who will be locked inside the Big Brother house.

Sources have confirmed that the actor Soundarya Sharma, who has appeared in the film Ranchi Diaries and the web series Raktanchal, will compete. Sharma, known for her glamorous persona, was also in the news for her audition for Wonder Woman 1984.

Television actors Gautam Vig and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia are next on the list. Gautam has appeared in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, Naamkarann, Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, Tantra, and Ishq Subhan Allah, among other shows. Colors TV even posted a video of Gautam answering fan questions while disguised on its Instagram story, confirming his participation in the program. As readers are aware, Nimrit competed for the title of Miss India and starred in Colors’ Choti Sarrraarni.

As we have previously reported, Uttaran actors Tina Dutta and Sreejita De, along with Image star Sumbul Touqueer and model Manya Singh, will also participate in Bigg Boss 16. In addition to Surbhi Jyoti, Shivin Narang, Kanika Mann, and Prakruti Mishra, film director Sajid Khan is also rumored to be joining the Salman Khan show. While there has been considerable buzz about Lock Upp champion Munawar Faruqui joining the show, there is a strong possibility that he will not participate.

This season of the reality show is rumored to have new rules, as Bigg Boss himself will participate in the game. In the advertisements, host Salman Khan was seen channeling his inner villain by donning the costumes of Gabbar Singh and Mogambo. In addition, he guaranteed that everyone’s plans would fail because he would introduce some new twists into the game.

The premiere of Bigg Boss 16 will air on October 1 and 2, with Salman Khan introducing the contestants before their 105-day confinement inside the house. The show will air Monday through Friday at 10 p.m., while the Bollywood Bhaijaan will interrogate the housemates on Weekend Ka Vaar at 9:30 p.m.
