The daughter of Saroj Khan recalls their conversation about Sushant Singh Rajput
Sukaina Khan, Saroj Khan’s daughter, recently recalled her last Instagram post for Sushant Singh Rajput and their conversation about it. After Sushant’s death on June 14, 2020, the choreographer posted on her Instagram account. On July 3, she died of cardiac arrest, less than a month later.
Saroj, Sukaina recalled, liked to connect with her fans on social media and would frequently ask her for assistance in sharing a post. Saroj told Sukaina that she wants to talk about Sushant Singh Rajput on Instagram after his death.
She used to scroll through everyone’s posts and say, ‘I think today, even I would like to post something.’ So she’d grab a video and say, “Just upload it “My last post went to Sushant. ‘Please write a post, I want to talk about that boy,’ she said.
Saroj had shared a photo of Sushant on Instagram with the message, “I’ve never worked with you, @sushantsinghrajput, but we’ve met several times. What has gone wrong in your life? I’m astounded that you made such a drastic change in your life. You could have talked to an Elder, who could have helped you and kept us happy by looking at you. God bless your soul, and I’m sorry to hear about your father and sisters. Condolences and strength to them during this difficult time. I adored you in all of your films and will always adore you. R.I.P.”
Saroj’s last post on her Instagram account was this one. Her children later used the account to share a message after her death, in which they stated that due to the Covid-19 situation, they will not be holding a prayer meeting for the choreographer. Sukaina told ETimes that she now wants to organize a prayer gathering to commemorate Saroj’s life.
