Vidyut Jammwal new movie Sanak is to release on 15th October

After announcing the release of Vidyut Jammwal new movie Sanak – Hope Under Siege on Disney+ Hotstar last week, the film’s producers, Vipul Amrutlal Shah and ZEE Studios, have now revealed the hostage drama’s release date. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal, Bengali actress Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia, and Chandan Roy Sanyal, among others.

Vidyut Jammwal new movie Sanak, directed by Kanishk Varma, will be released at the auspicious festival of Dussehra on October 15, 2021. Along with the news, the filmmakers have released a new movie poster, which shows Vidyut holding a baby in one hand and a pistol in the other.

Vipul Shah expresses his delight by saying, “I’m overjoyed to announce the release date of Sanak, which we shot in the most trying conditions of Covid-19. The primary goal of putting up all of the efforts was to keep people entertained, and as is customary, we attempted to raise the action level above that of the Commando series. I believe we have accomplished it.”

“I hope audiences feel the same way when they see the action and emotion in Sanak. It will inhabit a very new space in Indian cinema; it’s a hostage drama, a genre that has not been explored to its full potential. It would be interesting to see all the action and drama unfold in a hospital under a siege. I am very excited to share this date and looking forward to the film releasing on Disney+ Hotstar. Hopefully, we will get lots of love from the audience,” the producer adds.

The film marks the Bollywood debut of the stunning actress Rukmini Maitra, who is well-known in the Bengali film industry. Sunshine Pictures Pvt Ltd, led by Vipul Shah, has provided spectators with a number of entertaining cinematic experiences. His project, ‘Sanak – Hope Under Siege,’ is planned to bring out the emotional journey with action-packed moments, this time in cooperation with Zee Studios. While Vidyut plays the lead character in the film, he is teaming up for the sixth time with successful producer Vipul Shah.
