Subhash Ghai reveals a fascinating secret about Dilip Kumar, who passed away recently. Dilip Kumar, the ‘Thespian,’ is no longer with us, but he has left a legacy of many memories among his admirers, friends, and family members.
Subhash Ghai, the filmmaker who directed Dilip Kumar in the film ‘Karma,’ said on Friday that the late actor had never supported any advertising in his life save one for which he didn’t charge a single dime.
“Dilip Kumar was always there for his friends… he never did any endorsements throughout his whole career, with the exception of Baburao Patel, the editor of Film India magazine, who was also a naturopath. As a Friend, he supported his goods without payment “Subhash Ghai sent out a tweet.
At the age of 98, Dilip Kumar passed away on July 7 in Mumbai. In Mumbai’s Juhu cemetery, he was put to rest with full state honors.
When it comes to Dilip Kumar’s acting career, lasted six decades. He appeared in over 65 films over his career, including “Devdas” (1955), “Naya Daur” (1957), “Mughal-e-Azam” (1960), “Ganga Jamuna” (1961), “Kranti” (1981), and “Karma” (1986).
His most recent picture, ‘Qila,’ was released in 1998.
