Varun Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill collaborate on the family film Sab First Class, which is produced by Murad Khetani

Sources with direct knowledge of the production assert that it is an all-out family film starring Varun Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill. Balwinder Singh Janjua, who recently collaborated with Randeep Hooda on the critically acclaimed thriller CAT, will serve as the film’s director. The filming will begin in Chandigarh today, and the programme will be a rigorous test of endurance from beginning to end.This is a digital-exclusive situational comedy. “It also represents a departure from the genre for Balwinder, and the entire crew is certain that the film will generate considerable amusement among viewers,” an insider disclosed.
Varun and Shehnaaz are at the helm of the plot, but a large ensemble has joined forces for the film. The source further stated, “Kusha Kapila, Manu Rishi Chadha, and Faisal Malik have been cast in pivotal roles for the film.” Cine1 Studios and Jio Studios have collaborated on the film, which will have its direct-to-digital premiere on a prominent OTT platform later this year. Each character, Varun and Shehnaaz, will have his comedic side explored in the film, and both actors are enthusiastic about this new adventure.

Nearing VD 18 title reveal

In the interim, Murad Khetani has formed a partnership with Atlee and Jio Studios on the Kalees-directed action film starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The title of this action film, which is currently in production, is anticipated to be unveiled alongside a substantial video asset the following week. The anticipated release date is May 2024.
