Jawan advance bookings: Shah Rukh Khan’s film earns $2 million in the U.S. before the trailer was made public.

The trailer for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Jawan, directed by Atlee, is expected to be released this week, and the film is already causing waves. In advance sales at 450 locations in the United States, the film has grossed close to 2 crore. According to industry expert Manobala Vijayabalan, the total number of tickets sold was 1,375,000.

In the United States, advance booking for Jawan began 20 days before the film’s release, but in India, it has not yet begun. A few additional locations have also begun advance reservations for the film.

Manobala tweeted on Monday morning, “Even before the launch of the trailer, #Jawan has surpassed $200,000 at the U.S. box office. Advance sales amounted to $210,339 [1.74 cr] Locales – 450 Displays – 1884 Tickets total 13,750.”

While advance booking at major chains in India has yet to commence, the majority of exhibitors have reported that the film has generated considerable interest. Visheck Chauhan, an exhibitor and trade expert, tweeted on Sunday that admirers in tier-two cities are requesting 3 a.m. showings of the film. Raj Bansal, a film distributor and exhibitor, also tweeted, “After #Gadar2, I believe @iamsrk’s #Jawan will be shown nonstop in cinemas across India. His admirers are generating a tremendous amount of buzz about the film. Best of luck, Team Jawan!”

Pathaan Compared to Jawan

Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent film, grossed 15 crore in North America upon its release earlier this year. Experts predict that Jawan will break Pathaan’s opening-day sales records.

When Karan Johar wrote on his Instagram Stories that he viewed the “trailer of the century” for the film Jawan, fans speculated that he was reacting to the trailer. In his post, Karan did not disclose the title of the film.

Fans quickly created a Reddit thread to remark and speculate on the post. One of them remarked, “Can’t wait for the Jawan trailer.” Someone else remarked, “Wow…did Karan just praise Jawan?”
